Video Clips on Digital Picture / Photo Frames

Most digital cameras now offer a video capture feature. Depending on the size of your memory card and picture resolution, you can take up to three minutes of video at a time on your digital camera. I just rediscovered this feature. The video and audio quality from the still digital camera are pretty good, especially when you don’t have to lug a video camera along with you. The quality is equal if not better than my 2003 cannon zr45 digital video camera.
I don’t need to hook the camera up to the TV or download the video from the camera onto my computer to view it. I can just take the card out of my camera and plug it in a digital picture frame and watch the video with sound. I’m using a Tao 5.6? frame for this, but any digital photo frame with video and audio capabilities will work fine. My camera also offers an quick editing feature for the video. I don’t really use that feature very much. Instead I’ll download a the video clips from the camera onto my computer, then edit them and string them into one long video and put that onto my digital frame. It’s an easy way to show videos to friends and family when they visit.
