Digital Frame USB connection to PC

Q. My digital picture frame says that it can connect to my PC via the USB cable. I can’t get this to work. Will you please help me?
A. First all what is the brand of frame you have? You might be able to go to that companies website and download the software you need to operate the frame with your computer.
The second option is to try this. Some frames don’t have a softwared package to transfer pictures from computer to frame. You need to transfer pictures via the explorer window (assuming you are using a windows operating system). Follow these steps:
1. Turn on the frame and connect it via USB to your computer.
2.Right mouse click on the “start” button on the lower left hand corner of your screen.
3 Select the explore option from the menu. (a new window will popup) 4.On the left hand side of this window you will see a number of folders that are on your computer. expand the “my computer” tab if it is not already expanded.
5. Scroll down and see if there is a drive labled E,F or G (or something like that). These are the memory card reader drives on your frame. If you don’t see these you will not be able to transfer the pictures.
6. If you see the drives, put a your memory card in one of the slots on the frame and see which drive is the correct drive for that card.
7. Locate the folders where the pictures are stored on your computer and drag those pictures into the correct folder.
8. The pictures will now be transferred onto the card.
